Untitled 11/5

Dreams shine bright
glowing like a California sunset.

Dreams of you; a beautiful sight
as I hold you tight in a Jersey sunset.
basking in your radiant smile.

In shock that I was your choice;
as blood flows through my heart like the Nile.

With you found my soul can rejoice,
but it still exists as a mere dream
a reality only under a frozen moon
in a distant reality where love can beam;
where nightingales sing our tune.

In an instant, a dream becomes real life bliss

all with one passionate kiss

Untitled 10/1

Head over heels,
but that leads to a hard fall.
To save ourselves from the collapse
we choose not to build;
yet we grow closer—
building a frame
that was never intended.
A solid foundation pours
without a permit;
while the world watches
the building will grow
high to the clouds;
indestructible—
built to survive:

a testament to everything we are.

Haiku Volume 16

Hello people, today I bring you a few Haiku because I was yelled at (not really, but I was told I haven't posted any in a while), so here you are; enjoy.

I
Sign from an angel
spoken through emerald owls
held in Hathor’s hands.

II
Grass grows silently
waving in the summer breeze
not knowing doom lurks.

III
Silk golden hair sways
as you dance the night away
in another's arms.

IV
A drooling bulldog’s
snore breaks the silence of night:
dreaming of playtime.

V
Roses gray and wilt;
caught by an expected force:
an unexpected end.

VI
Rain falls all around
a lonely desert flower
pausing its demise.

VII
Your smile dances
each night as my head spins dreams:
haunting my morning.

VIII
Children laugh and play
with death on the horizon:
 unaware of fate.

Poem 7/2/17

Deep in sacrilegious thought—
a mere mortal mingled
with the heavens;
captivated by a golden goddess
blinded by beauty’s baby blues.

What could be the apotheosis of love;
prevented by the fear of the fall

as the goddess floats
back to the world she came
amongst those more worthy than I—

vanished amongst the stars
where my prayers are sent

to see heaven's smile again.

Poem 6/27/17

Tears fall from an angel
as fate destroys all hope—
as words sharpened to kill
dismember white wings,
dissecting a once full heart;
dismantling beauty.

Together no more;
left alone to perish
on a motionless pond
consumed by a sea of gray.

Red waves paint jagged rocks
hiding the path of a murderer;

eternity externally extinguished.

Untitled Poem 5/10/17

How can we be so close,
yet eons apart?

Born for one another
only to die alone.

My still heart awaits
the blood to pump again
as it shrivels to nothing—
a raisin in the sun:

dying.

An end that was foretold,
yet nothing was done to change it:
a destiny never collided.

Untitled 5/8/2017

A Mirror hung on a gold gilded wall;
a reflection of a different future
where family portraits line a  hall.
A future where snow gently falls
untouched by man, woman, or animal.
A field tucked in for the night beneath the powder
dotted with oranged oaks.
A reflection of your beauty:

timeless.

A reflection where blue eyes show pain
beyond a perfect field:

a pain that the reflection is a falsehood.

Halls dotted with empty frames
where Intricate cobwebs live;
as the gold vanishes to dust
swept in the cold winter wind
amongst the dying trees.

The mirror cracks;
shattering to the floor
of a gutted home

A future abandoned.
